Social Implications in Iraqi Caricature

Abstract

 Abstract

The importance of the study is the attempts to deconstruct social contents concepts and put them in artistic employment as a phenomenon or human condition and establish the extent of their functionality in the field of contemporary Iraqi caricature art. The study was described in the first chapter on the methodological framework of the research problem and to highlight the research problem in the social contents of Iraqi caricature art. Current studies, research importance, the need for a mechanism, the purpose of research, and the disadvantages of research represented findings regarding it Finally, defining and defining terms, whereas the second chapter was encompassing the theoretical framework in two sections, the first representing (cognitive approaches in sociology), while the second section was represented by the following title (the content of caricatures in Iraqi society).  1-  The contemporary Iraqi cartoonist was dedicated to expressing andpreserving the humanitarian causes of Iraqi society, a job to which the artist was well-known.

 2-   The Iraqi cartoonist was able to reach the profundity of the nature of the   Iraqi personality, represent and illustrate their conditions, and introduce their contemporary Iraqi identity.

Conclusions:

1- The Iraqi caricature emphasized the adherence of the art of caricature to social issues by referring to these reductionist vocabulary in the world of images.

-Iraqi cartoon drawing was able to put into perspective the suffering of the Iraqi people as much as some of the laws leading to social problems and their effects were concerned.
