The genealogical foundations of theater criticism have formed a link for cognitive communication in the field of theater criticism. Criticism has become a tool for evaluating and researching theatrical discourses and other literary cultures, based on the studied foundations of critical approaches in a comprehensive and logical manner consistent with the course of the work، Criticism in the analytical studio, and the research included four chapters, the first chapter (the methodological framework), which includes the research problem framed in the following question: ((How did the genealogical foundations appear in the criticism of theatrical criticism, the play (Zghanbut) as a model.

The importance of the research included studying the genealogical foundations in the criticism of theatrical criticism and the great importance it carries in critical studies, and the subject was not studied previously, in order to reach the goal of the current research, which is to identify (the genealogical foundations in the criticism of theatrical criticism, the play (Zaghnbut) as a model).

The research boundaries are spatial (Iraq) and temporal (2024). The objective boundaries focus on studying the genealogical foundations of theatrical criticism, using the play "Zaghnabot" as a model. This leads to identifying important research terms and a procedural definition.

As for the research methodology: the researcher adopted the descriptive (analytical) method in the theoretical framework of the research, and the (criticism of criticism) method in analyzing the selected sample. The research tool: the researcher relied on the observer tool and indicators of the theoretical framework as a tool for research and analysis of the sample. As for the fourth chapter, it consists of results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions, and it concluded with a list of sources and references.
