The Role of Educational Desing Seience in Developing the Teaching Process from the Perspective of the Department of Art Education

Abstract

ABSTRUCT

The current research deals with (the role of educational design science in developing the teaching process from the point of view of professors in the Department of Art Education). The research contained four chapters: The first chapter dealt with the methodological framework of the research represented by the research problem, which was defined by the following question: (What is the role of educational design science in developing the teaching process from the point of view of professors in the Department of Art Education). The aim of the research was (to identify the role of educational design science in developing the teaching process from the point of view of professors in the Department of Art Education). The research boundaries were limited to the spatial boundaries: Iraq, University of Babylon, College of Fine Arts, Department of Art Education. The temporal boundaries were the period of the academic year (2024-2025). The objective boundaries were represented in (studying the role of educational design science in developing the teaching process from the point of view of professors in the Department of Art Education). The second chapter represented the theoretical framework, and consisted of two sections. The first section dealt with the concept of educational design. The second section dealt with the concept of teaching. The third chapter dealt with the research procedures. It included the research community, its sample, the research tool, and the analysis of the research sample. Chapter Four includes the research results and conclusions, as well as recommendations and suggestions. Among the most important findings are:

1. Instructional design contributes to eliminating randomness and improvisation in educational situations, maximizing the investment of time, effort, and money, and contributing to organizing the inputs of the educational process to ensure effective teaching outcomes.

2. Instructional design contributes to the correct formulation of teaching policy, diagnosing the educational conditions of the teaching process, and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of curricula.

Among the conclusions are:

1. Instructional design helps eliminate randomness and improvisation in educational situations, maximizing the investment of time, effort, and money, and organizing the inputs of the educational process to ensure effective teaching outcomes.

2. Instructional design works to formulate a sound policy for the teaching process and helps teachers confront educational situations with high confidence in their abilities.

Chapter Four also includes a set of recommendations and suggestions, and the study concludes with a list of sources and references.
