Abstract

The Holy Quran is a central pillar of the Islamic educational process. The importance of teaching and understanding it lies in instilling religious, linguistic, and cultural principles in students. With the development of educational methods, the need has arisen to employ visual media as a supportive tool to facilitate understanding and interpretation, especially posters and illustrations, which have proven effective in enhancing students' reading comprehension. This research consists of four chapters. The first chapter addresses the research problem and its significance, followed by the research objective: to identify and redesign educational posters to improve students' reading comprehension skills in the Holy Quran.

The second chapter presents the theoretical framework, comprising two sections: the first focuses on poster design, and the second on reading comprehension skills.

The third chapter details the research procedures, including the research population, sample, research methodology, and the analysis of research samples using the indicators of the theoretical framework. The most important findings include: educational posters facilitate the understanding and interpretation of verses sequentially, reveal the structure of the Quranic verses, and effectively convey ideas when redesigned, unlike traditional images.
