Abstract

Research Summary:

The Muslim artist turned to interest in the art of decorative design, as it is related to the attempt to find alternatives for expression away from photography, which many artists have been avoiding due to the difference in opinions regarding its legitimacy. Therefore, the Muslim artist turned to other means of expression, especially in the field of decorative art, which is considered a human art like that. Like the arts of painting, sculpture and architecture, that is, it has a spatial structure that we can perceive through the sense of sight and sometimes touch, but it differs from other plastic arts in terms of its intellectual system. For example, in the case of painting or sculpture, nature is a medium for expressing the artistic vision, by addressing the senses and emotions. directly, while abstract shapes become the means of expression in decorative design in general and the design of contemporary women's fabrics in particular, based on the foregoing, the research came out with the following question:
