The aesthetic dimensions of repetition in children's drawings

Abstract

Research summary

          About the research titled (Aesthetics of Repetition in Children’s Analysis). Repetition is considered the most important profit-generating factor for children of a certain age group. The research included four chapters, the first chapter with the research problem, which asks the following questions.

1- Do children’s drawings carry aesthetic values ​​and goals to be repeated in their drawings?

2- Why does the child repeat, and what does he want from repetition from the psychological aspect? 

The importance of the research as well as the objectives of the research:

1- Identify the aesthetics of repetition in children’s drawings

2- Detecting repetition in children’s drawings according to the gender variable

Within the time limits between the year (2022-2023)

The second chapter was divided into three sections, the first section is the concept of beauty, the second section is repetition conceptually, and the third section is the characteristics of children’s drawings.          While the third chapter included research procedures from the research population of (60), and the research sample of (20) sample

The fourth chapter summarized the results and conclusions, including the results reached by the researcher

1- Shape

A - The frequency of drawings of people among children appeared slightly from what was observed in the research samples. Only one drawing was found for males, in which a person of the same gender was drawn, and also one drawing for girls, also drawn of the same gender.

B - The frequency of houses appeared more frequently in females than in males, at a rate of 9 for females and 5 for males

T - The frequency of trees appeared more in females than in males, at 8 for females and 5 for males.

D - The drawing of animals appeared in one drawing for males and did not appear when drawing females
