Cinema and television have become a vital and important role in the global social, political, economic and educational scene, to the point that they have become one of the most important media influencing changing the viewpoints of societies and peoples through works and employment of elements of cinematic language, simulating real life data or simulating the world of imagination and hypotheticals and embodying them through the moving image by employing aesthetic and expressive connotations. World cinema, in accordance with its political, ideological, social, religious and other orientations, wrote ideological visions targeting groups, peoples and nations, by employing symbols and connotations related to history, religion and nationalism. Among them was Zionist cinema, which was based on the worlds of its inherited religious, social and historical symbols to be a medium through which it could penetrate the feelings and sentiments of the recipient for sympathy. and support On the other hand, the religious and social symbols of the Arabs were used to give a superficial, ideological image that contributes to spreading hatred and malice against them in order to convey ideas with a political dimension and achieve harm to others.

As the research aims to study the topic in all its aspects, and from this standpoint, the researcher formulated the research problem with the following question: What are the artistic uses and treatments in the operation of symbolic expressive connotations in Zionist cinema, as the importance of the research and the need for it lies in revealing the data and specificity of the cinematic discourse through it, In addition to being a resource for students and researchers, and since it aims to reveal the artistic uses and treatments and operation of symbolic expressive connotations in Zionist cinema, the descriptive approach (content analysis) was adopted as it is more appropriate for achieving the goals and reaching the desired results.
