Abstract
The current research (Analysis of metallic mineral pastes for use in forming miniature sculptures in contemporary sculpture) is an attempt to understand the components of metallic mineral pastes and their ease of use in the field of ceramic formation. Metallic mineral pastes can be defined as a material made from metal powder and a binder with pure distilled water. Metallic paste is a popular material for jewelry makers, as it has high plasticity that allows the creation of complex designs that are practically indistinguishable from the pieces produced by the sculptor in jewelry making techniques. This study examines the process of analyzing metallic paste in terms of formation and organic and inorganic composition.
The first chapter included the methodological framework for the research (the research problem, the importance of the research, the need for it, the limits of the research, and the definition of its terminology). The second chapter included the theoretical framework and previous studies for the research, and it consists of two sections. The first section is the nature of metallic mineral slurries.
The second section is the types of metallic pastes, while the third chapter is concerned with the research procedures, which is about the research community and its sample of (2) models and its methodology leading to the analysis. The fourth chapter includes the most important results that came from the subject of the research, as well as recommendations and proposals.
