Abstract

Abstract     :

The researcher’s study consists of four chapters . The first chapter includes the research problem , its significance, and the main objective , which is to explore how Iraqi theatrical directing engages with technology from both technical and aesthetic perspectives . The researcher also identified the spatial , temporal , and thematic boundaries of the study , and defined its key terms .

The second chapter presents the theoretical framework , which is divided into two sections . The first section discusses the historical development of theatrical directing , while the second focuses on the relationship between theater and technology in both global and Arab contexts .

The third chapter covers the research methodology , the research community , and the sample , which consists of selected Iraqi theatrical performances that have incorporated technological elements . These samples were analyzed according to the indicators derived from the theoretical framework .

In the fourth chapter, the research presents a set of findings and conclusions , followed by recommendations and suggestions. Finally , the researcher includes a list of references , and concludes with the title and abstract in English .
