This research is concerned with studying The Dialectics of the Image in Iraqi Theatrical Performance: A Case Study of the Play Bayt Abu Abdullah. The study is organized into four chapters. Chapter One, the methodological framework, includes the research problem and its necessity, as well as the importance, objectives, boundaries, and definitions of terms (such as "image"). Chapter Two, the theoretical framework, consists of two sections in addition to the review of previous studies: the first section discusses the dialectics of the image according to philosophical schools and its relationship to space, while the second section addresses the dialectics of the image in contemporary performance. This chapter also includes previous studies and a number of theoretical indicators. Chapter Three is the procedural framework, which comprises the research sample, methodology, research tool, and sample analysis. Chapter Four presents the results and their discussion, through which the research arrived at certain conclusions, followed by recommendations, suggestions, and the list of references.
