Abstract

Research  summary :

Technical reduction is one of the latest concepts witnessed by contemporary Iraqi theater. It is concerned with reducing the use of theatrical techniques and aims to    deepen the aesthetic and communicative impact away from scenographic distortion, to  liberate  the imagination  of  The  recipient  and  enrich the process of   interpretation    

to identify with what the theatrical characters release  of contradictions  and emotional states to which the recipient responds to reveal its atmosphere and dramatic conflicts. The researcher chose the title of the research as follows: (The aesthetic and communicative impact of technical reduction in the Iraqi Contemporary theatrical  Show). The research was divided into four chapters: The first (methodological framework of the research) was devoted to addressing the research problem represented by the following question: How does technical reduction contribute to producing the aesthetic and communicative impact in Iraqi Contemporary theatrical Show ?  The chapter addressed the importance and objective of the research by identifying the aesthetic and communicative impact of technical reduction in Iraqi theater performances, then the limits of the research. The chapter concluded by defining terms, while the second chapter (the theoretical framework) included two sections: the first of which dealt with tracing (reduction and its aesthetic characteristics), while the second section dealt with ( Techniques serve as a reductionist tool in theatrical performances). It concluded with previous studies and a set of indicators resulting from the theoretical framework. The third chapter came to deal with the research procedures, including the research population, sample, research tool, and sample analysis. The fourth chapter included the results reached by the researcher in light of the analysis, then the conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions.
