Research Summary:

   Slow cinema is a modern phenomenon conceptually. It is one of the most important contemporary features of the development of film art. Despite its roots extending back to previous cinematic schools, it is unique in its distinctive intellectual and visual-audio structures that tend towards slowness, simplicity, monotony, and calm in shaping the cinematic material it presents to the recipient, prompting them to contemplate and reflect on it, rather than receiving it passively. Thus, slow cinema becomes a revolutionary trend linked to philosophical structures broader than the world of film, attempting to resist the ideology of speed that dominates our contemporary lives. Based on this importance of slow cinema, the researcher defined the topic of this research, which bore the following title: (Stylistic Features of Slow Cinema Films). From here, the importance of the research emerges in that it addresses an important issue. The aim of the research will be to uncover the most important stylistic features represented by the intellectual and visual-audio characteristics that characterize slow cinema films. After that, the limits and terminology of the research were presented. Then the researcher moved to the theoretical framework and concluded it with a set of indicators. As for the third chapter, it was (research procedures), in which the researcher identified a deliberate research sample represented by the film (Vitalina Varela 2019), then this sample was analyzed, as the researcher reached a set of results and conclusions, and finally the research concluded with a list of sources and references.
