Dealing with the research (the impact of separation anxiety on children's drawings), childhood is one of the most important stages of growth, as it contributes significantly to the formation of the individual's personality, and its formation in a positive manner and includes all aspects of growth, especially emotional growth, which is the basis for the balance of his personality in the future and the child's educational environment begins in the family The first source of education, and anxiety in general in childhood may constitute various pathological symptoms and complications that lead to a danger to the mental health of the child, and one of the most important types of Anxiety is "separation anxiety" and is one of the behavioral disorders suffered by children and may accompany them in the early periods of their lives, but the continuation of this anxiety is a psychological problem that must be revealed because of the resulting suffering that accompanies the child and affects his performance in daily and school life and psychological problems as a result of their formation of a negative concept of themselves, which appears in their drawings, as through drawing can identify the projections of separation anxiety. The research included four chapters, the first chapter dealt with the methodological framework through several axes, including: the research problem, which was presented and summarized by the question of what is the impact of separation anxiety on children's drawings? ؟ In the light of the question received, In light of the question received, the importance of the current research and the need for it were determined, and the temporal limits of the research (academic year 2022-2023), spatial (primary schools in Babylon Governorate / Mahawil District Center) and objectivity (fees for children in the fifth primary stage of both sexes), and then determining the procedural term for the research. And then move to: the second chapter (theoretical framework) and its indicators, and previous studies, while the third chapter has included research procedures and represented by community has The research community reached (15740) and the research sample (450) pupils and schoolgirls by (198) boys and (252) girls distributed over (14) schools of boys and (14) school of girls, and the researcher used two tools, one of which is the separation anxiety scale for (Mendes et al., 2014) and a tool Analysis of children's drawings that were extracted from the theoretical framework and the opinions of experts, and it consisted of (6) main axes (line, shape, color, distortion, human depiction, drawing content) and included (39) sub-characteristics.
