Abstract

Summary:

Technology and its rapid developments have led to a comprehensive change in the various fields of advertising and propaganda activities، which are shaped in the form of advertising and promotional media، virtual environments and other interactive systems، hence the concept of conceptual art، which began with the presentation of the conceptual art movement in the sixties of the last century، which rejected the concept The dominant artistic practice that shaped the first half of the twentieth century، as the conceptual art movement viewed art as something that was not exclusively defined by aesthetic characteristics، but also by the concepts and ideas themselves. Hence، the researcher raised several questions about the concept of graphic design.

In its theoretical framework، the study included two sections، the first: conceptual art، its origins and the concept، and the second: the idea and creative imagination in conceptual art، and in the current research procedures and the adoption of the descriptive approach in analyzing the study models and Then the study presented its results، the most important of which are:

The means of expressing the idea of conceptual art were formed by raising questions and assumptions that lead to overcoming the artistic effect in order to realize the underlying content، focus on the idea rather than the form، and stir up and move many basic concepts in the mind of the recipient to reach the goals and objectives of the artwork.

The most important conclusions:

  1. The advertising designs were characterized by attractive treatments، which were based on creating new concepts that mixed contradictory elements، which resulted in designing advertisements that carried innovative conceptual ideas.
  2. The conceptual graphic appears in the posters by adopting the content of the idea that was formed as the most important element in the artwork
