Summary

The research focused on studying (Aesthetics of the Artistic Image Through the Ages), through researching the meanings of what the image is through the ages. The current research includes four chapters that include the first chapter: the general framework of the research (Research methodological framework) the research problem centered in the following question to identify: What is the artistic, philosophical and intellectual image through the ages?. Aesthetics of the artistic image through the ages? In addition to the importance of the research and the need for it, then the research aimed to identify the aesthetics of the artistic image through the ages. As for the limits of the research, it was limited to the period of antiquity, ending with the period of the Renaissance, and the chapter concluded with the definition of terms. The second chapter included: (Theoretical framework and indicators of the theoretical framework) Two topics The first topic is the intellectual and philosophical concept of the image: the artistic image in ancient philosophical thought, and the second topic: the concept of transformation in art, and the chapter concluded with the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework. The third chapter included: (research procedures), which included defining the research community according to the temporal and spatial limits, while the research sample was intentionally chosen, while the research tool relied on the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework, then the research methodology and sample analysis. As for the fourth chapter, it included the results, conclusions, recommendations, and proposals, and then the margins and sources.
