Official semantics in Islamic photography (Baghdad School as a model)
Abstract
The first chapter dealt with: the problem of research and the importance and need for research. The aim of the research is to identify the formal connotations in Islamic photography, the Baghdad School as a model. In the period from (595 AH) to (707 AH - 1308 AD). The first chapter dealt with the definition of terms and an explanation of what they are in language and terminology.
The second chapter consists of two parts: the theoretical framework and previous studies.
As for the third chapter, it included research procedures that included (the research community, research samples, research tool, and research methodology, in addition to analyzing four samples that were chosen deliberately and represented the research sample, and were analyzed according to the descriptive analytical method).
The fourth chapter included the research results, conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
Among the results reached by the researcher:
1-It turned out that some of the miniatures in the Baghdad Islamic School of Painting were sometimes of a spontaneous nature, and at other times they were aimed at modifying some forms.
2- One of the characteristics of the Baghdad School of Painting is that the miniature was dealing with crowds of people or animals in the form of repetition of the image aside in a repetitive position as a musical rhythm.
As for the conclusions:
1- The form that gave several indicators prevailed.
2- The Muslim artist sought to evoke some stories and myths
