The surrounding text and its semiotic connotations In receiving the Iraqi theatrical text

Abstract

This research means studying the surrounding text, which includes (the title, the author's name, the shape of the cover, the dedication, and the margins), which constitute a supporting structure for the original text through the information it carries in an encrypted way. To receive the text by the reader, and for that reason, the researcher divided his research into four chapters, which is the first chapter: the methodological framework for the research, and it includes: The research problem that centered around the following question: What are the semiotic connotations achieved by the surrounding text in deepening the action of the original text and the ideal of receiving it? Then the importance of research and the need To it, then the aim of the research, then the limits of the research: temporal (2010-2020), spatial (Iraq), objectivity, and finally defining procedural terms and definitions.

As for the second chapter (the theoretical framework), it included two sections, the first concerned with the study of the surrounding text and the second receiving the theatrical text semiotically. The chapter concluded with the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework. As for the third chapter, it included the research procedures, samples, research tool and methodology, and one sample was chosen as a model for the study.

1.The text surrounding the title portal bore an imaginary impression, and with the change of events, the horizons of expectation for the recipient changed, not as a result of a different semiotic significance that produced emotional responses that deepened the work of parts of the surrounding text.

3,The division of the cover page clarified the value of both good and evil in advance through the darkness and darkness that overwhelmed the white, which helped to receive the text.
