Abstract

Bullying is a form of abuse and abuse that is directed by an individual or a group towards an individual or a group who is often physically weaker. Or threaten, harass, or assault others.

Where the current research included four chapters, as follows, the first chapter (the methodological framework of the research), which included the research problem represented by the following question: What is bullying in the texts of the writer Mahmoud Kahila, “The Play of Colors of the Spectrum as a Model?” The chapter also included the importance of the research by highlighting the topic ( bullying), and this chapter also contained (the aim of the research), which was limited to identifying bullying in the texts of the writer Mahmoud Kahila, "The Play of Colors of the Spectrum as a Model".

The second chapter dealt with (theoretical framework) in three topics:

The first topic: bullying conceptually and its approaches .

The second topic: bullying a- psychologically b- socially.

The third topic: bullying a- globally. B - Arab C – Iraqi.

The chapter concluded with previous studies and the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework.

As for the third chapter, it dealt with the research procedures represented by the research community and its samples that were chosen in an intentional way, such as the play Colors of the Spectrum by the writer Mahmoud as a reliable trick in the analysis of the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework within a descriptive and analytical approach.

The fourth chapter contained the results reached by the researcher in her research, including:

• Bullying is considered a phenomenon that does not belong to one race to the exclusion of another, as it is a phenomenon that exists in ages and times.
• The playwright paid attention to the phenomenon of bullying by practicing deviant behaviors such as murder and criminality among some characters and trying to show them in his theatrical texts.

The conclusions are summarized as follows:

• The generality of the phenomenon of bullying in all societies, from ancient times until today
• The playwright was interested in finding different and diverse personalities who practiced deviant behavior in some theatrical texts.

The chapter concluded with a set of recommendations and proposals, proven sources and references, and a summary of the research in English.
