Space-time in the Andalusian shrines - Maqamat al-Sarqusti as a model

The necessary maqamat of al-Saraqusti is one of the most wonderful examples of the Andalusian maqamat, and it is not just stories of humor and enjoyment, but rather a cultural, historical and intellectual asset.  Al-Sarqusti succeeded in employing the elements of time and place in listing the shrines because of their important role in the narrative work and they cannot be dispensed with, and thus all the narrative elements you find linked to them, as the event takes place in a specific time, whether it is past, present or future, as it happens inside a specific place. Events take place in it, and this study aims to highlight the elements of time and space in the maqamat of al-Sarqasti to reveal the extent of his superiority in his use of them to enrich the issues he dealt with in his maqamat, and this reflected positively on the aesthetics of the maqamat.
