It represents the child's ability to deal successfully with others, with various environmental stimuli, and the ability to face work requirements. The social competence of a mentally autistic child can be defined and measured through the practice of artistic and educational activities in small groups within the framework of cooperative learning. The research answers the following question: To what extent can the program of artistic and educational activities be used to develop the social competence of mentally autistic children based on the strategy of cooperative learning?
