Abstract
The current research dealt with (the philosophy of difference in postmodern arts) and studied the nature of difference as an active knowledge in philosophical and aesthetic thought, as the concept of difference constitutes a different and new formal vision in postmodern arts and this is what contributes to the process of creating artistic creativity, whether in understanding, formulation or The content, with the increase of the objective view of the world around them, which contains aesthetic and artistic suggestions characterized by the high freedom of authorship, as it constitutes a transformation in the systems of philosophical, formal and technical concepts that were relied upon in the emergence and development of postmodern art streams.
The research contained four chapters, as the first chapter dealt with the methodological framework of the research, so the research problem was identified by the following question: Has philosophy influenced postmodern arts?
The first chapter also included the objective of the research in identifying the philosophy of difference in postmodern arts .
As for the limits of the research, it was limited to studying the difference in postmodern arts, and analyzing models of artistic paintings for the period (1975-1994) by adopting the analytical method within a philosophical, cognitive and aesthetic vision.
As for the second chapter, it included the theoretical framework, which contained two sections, as the first topic dealt with the concept of difference in art, and the second topic dealt with homogeneity and difference in postmodern currents.
The third chapter contained the research procedures that included the research method, as the researcher adopted the descriptive method by way of content analysis and in line with the goal of the research, the research sample, and then the analysis of the samples, which amounted to (4) samples.
As for the fourth chapter, it included the results and conclusions of the research, as well as recommendations and suggestions. The most prominent findings of the research are:
1- All the mechanisms of postmodern art were based on difference by changing the essence of vulgar and consumed things.
2- All the concepts of difference that occurred in postmodern currents came in harmony and in harmony with the philosophy of societies that were characterized by randomness, absurdity, anarchy and transformations in all fields of life.
3- He considered the post-modern era to be the era of radical difference in everything, especially in the customs and traditions of European societies.
