Kinetic Illusion in Contemporary World Ceramics
Abstract
Abstract
The current research dealt with the problem of kinetic illusion drivers in contemporary ceramic works. The research problem came from the following question: How is kinetic illusion achieved in contemporary world ceramics?
The objectives of the research (to know the kinetic illusion in contemporary world ceramics) by presenting a knowledge base about philosophical propositions that call for a mismatched vision between the objective and subjective aspects and highlighting the most important concepts that have the ability to refer the visual surface to the illusion of the existence of movement despite static. The research community (25 works) and its sample (3 models) were identified in a way that is compatible with the objective of the current research, so that the research reaches the most important results reached by the researcher, the most important of which are:
1- Kinetic illusion made time not a manifestation of matter in artistic works represented in contemporary ceramic forms, but rather an independent and intertwined conditional requirement, and stimulated the act of visual deception.
2- According to the kinesthetic illusion, time cannot be sensed in the macroscopic sense of the form, but rather we feel it only. Therefore, the ceramic figure remains sensible, being visible and invisible at the same time. Time remains sensual through the mind, according to the mechanism of kinesthetic illusion in its relationship to visual deception.
