The Psychological Time of the Character in the Show Speech Iraqi

Abstract:

The research includes four chapters. The first chapter deals with the research problem identified by the following question: - What is the concept of psychological time of the character in the presentation speech? The importance of the research and the need for it shed light on the importance of the psychological time of the character in the presentation show. It is useful to students and workers in the theater department. The aim of the research is to identify the psychological time of the personality in the presentation speech. The research is determined by studying the psychological time of the character in the presentation speech in the Iraqi play (Muttar Saif - Ali Abdul Nabi Al-Zaidi), which was shown in (2012 AD). The chapter concludes with a definition of terms.

The second chapter (the theoretical framework) included two sections. The first topic (the concept of time in psychology) and the second topic (the psychological time of the theatrical character) concluded the chapter with the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework and previous studies.

As for the third chapter, it included the research community and its sample, which the researcher deliberately chose to match the research topic, problem and objectives. As for the research method, the researcher relied in the tool on the indicators of the theoretical framework.

The fourth chapter contains the results, including:

1-The character of the wife dealt with all the tools on stage to embody a psychological time based on past events (such as the mirror - her husband's jacket - the perfume bottle - and the cassette tape).

2- The lighting reflected a psychological time that the character dealt with, and it was clear through the darkness of all parts of the stage, except for the areas where the character was present.

This chapter also contains conclusions, recommendations and suggestions, then a list of sources and references.
