Abstract

Summary:

Perhaps after modernity left the theater to a new concept, which is postmodernism, which is not based on consecration but rather on proof and death. Most of the postmodern shows were shows that attack value and uniqueness and return to nature, the first image, and spontaneity, and this is what suits psychodrama as a therapeutic method that uses drama.  In treatment, this use is an uncontrollable use, and this uncontrollability is a companion of post-modernism.  The psychological transformation in post-modern performances is a clear transformation because they are performances that embrace improvisation, and improvisation is a statement that is close to the soul or an implicit action that needs to be revealed, so psychodrama came to contain this type of treatment. Work on the self has emerged among many directors and has varied from one to another, and theorizations have been established.  Some of them are on the actor and others on the audience, the text, and the form. Thus, this transformation that characterizes psychodrama as the processor that contains all has come in several models, some of which relate to the show and its components, and some of which relate to the audience and its psychological state or the time and place of the show.  From here, the question crystallizes: What is the psychodramatic transformation in postmodern shows?  Then the research consisted of the second chapter in two sections, the first included methods of treatment in theories of psychology, the second research on the psychological transformation into checkers, the third research the mechanisms of applying psychodrama in shows such as post-modernism, then the third chapter included the research community, which included the research sample, then the chapter concluded with the research models.
