Abstract
Summary
This research was concerned with studying the technical effects resulting from the use of emulsion of natural materials on the pottery body, where white kaolin clay was chosen to withstand thermal shock. The type of pottery body is determined by using a clay mixture consisting of kaolin and crooks, and applying an emulsion of natural materials (flour, water, wine, and sugar) on the surface of the pottery body. The first chapter dealt with a presentation of the research problem - its importance and need for it - the research hypothesis - the goal of the research and the temporal, spatial and objective boundaries. The second chapter included four axes: the first was clay, the second axis: included the atmosphere of burning, while the third axis dealt with: contemporary burning techniques, and the fourth axis: Aesthetic effects on the surface of ceramic vessels. While the third chapter came with the research procedures, which included the experimental research approach and the intentional selection of samples. The selection of kaolin and clay clay with a fixed weight ratio and the preparation of natural materials emulsion mixtures were chosen, where three mixtures were chosen with variable proportions in water, where the natural materials emulsion was applied to the pottery body at a temperature of 800 and using... The gas kiln in the process of burning pottery objects, and the number of samples reached (7). The fourth chapter discussed the results, as sample number (1) was characterized by the color relationships between the ocher color with its various shades and the dark walnut color, which forms irregular visual units, and is distributed on the surface of the vessel. ceramics with clear randomness. As for the fifth chapter, the conclusions were, the most important of which are:
1.All samples came in three colors (brown, walnut, and black).
- The effectiveness of the color effect was a visual revelation of the aesthetics of underground vessels, as well as an activation of the visual attraction or aesthetic response of the recipient.
The research also included a number of suggestions and recommendations, followed by footnotes and Arab and foreign sources
