Abstract

Summary of the research:

The artistic currents of post-modern arts were able to play an important and vital role in the completion of artistic work by introducing new styles and methods that went out of the ordinary to confirm the ability of the aesthetic experience to keep pace with the intellectual transformations that occurred in the plastic concept and the artistic process in general. Since the middle of the twentieth century, plastic art has witnessed wide changes that led to the dominance of non-objective abstract art over the concept of modernist and post-modernist art, which served as an alternative to art based on anthropomorphizing the shapes and surfaces of the real world. However, the Superrealism movement sought to present a new form of figurative painting that It was distinguished by intellectual data and propositions of the post-modern stage that were able to harmonize with the current changes of the era. The current research was divided into four chapters. The first chapter included defining the problem of the research, its importance, and the need for it, while the aim of the research was summarized: identifying the intellectual data and their representations in the Superrealism movement, as well as including the limits of the research and defining the terms contained in it. As for the second chapter, it was divided into three sections. The first section dealt with (the concept of intellectual data), and the second section studied (the emergence of the Superrealism movement). As for the third section, (the manifestations of intellectual data in the Superrealism movement) were presented, along with a number of indicators of the theoretical framework. The third chapter included the research procedures of the research community and its sample, where the samples were chosen intentionally in order to achieve the research goal, the research tool, and the analysis of the research samples.
