The environment, climate, and the nature of land, sea, night, and day, and their succession, affect the individual in one way or another, creating his own point of view on the things and beings around him. It may be conscious or subconscious, stored in his mind or his internal repressions, and even within the chromosomes of his organic body, thus achieving a special personality that is unique to him. The other is similar to a thumbprint that distinguishes it from others.

 The research included four chapters. The first chapter dealt with the research problem, which centered on the following question: (What is the imaginary image in the work of the Iraqi theatrical director?) While the researcher determined the importance of the research and the need for it in studying the imaginary image in the work of the Iraqi theatrical director, and the goal of the research that was determined In identifying the imaginary image in the work of the Iraqi theater director, and the limits of the research: temporal (2005-2023), spatial: (Iraq), and objectivity: studying the imaginary image in the work of the Iraqi theater director Ibrahim Hanoun (a model). As for the second chapter (theoretical framework) of the research, it includes The first section discusses the imaginative image conceptually, while the second section discusses international directors, in addition to mentioning the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework. As for the third section (research procedures), In it, the research sample was determined and selected in an intentional way to be a model in the analysis, and it was represented in the play (Death and the maiden), written by (Ariel Dorfman) and directed by (Ibrahim Hanoun), and the research concluded with the results and conclusions that were stated according to the results and the list of sources.Keywords: image, imagination, intuition.
