Summary
This research is concerned with studying (the aesthetic design of the facades of the Egyptian royal palaces), and it is divided into (four) chapters. The first chapter is devoted to explaining the problem of the research, its importance and need for it, its goal, and its limits, and defining the most important terms contained in it. The research problem dealt with the topic of the aesthetic design of the facades of the Egyptian royal palaces. Which was determined by answering the following question:
How was the beauty of the design of the facades of the Egyptian royal palaces embodied?
The importance of the research was evident as it sheds light on the most important technical and aesthetic foundations adopted by the architect in the facades of the Egyptian royal palaces. This research provides a scientific and practical addition to the designer and artist, and the current research benefits critics, artists and architects.
The research has an objective: to know the aesthetic design of the facades of the Egyptian royal palaces. With regard to the limits of the research, it has been determined (by an analytical study of the designs of the facades of the Egyptian royal palaces) for the period from (1808 AD - 1917 AD). The most important terms have been identified and defined, which is represented by (aesthetic design). As for the second chapter, it has It included the theoretical framework and previous studies. The theoretical framework contained (two sections) concerned with: The first section concerned with studying architectural design between aesthetics and performance. The second section concerned itself with studying the designs of Egyptian royal palaces and then ended with indicators, as well as a review of previous studies, while the third chapter was concerned with research procedures that included a community The research, which consisted of (60) royal palaces, and its sample of (3) royal palaces, and the research methodology, research tool, statistical and mathematical methods, then analysis of the sample models.
The fourth chapter included the research results, conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
