Abstract

Research Summary

This research dealt with the study of (employing the sgraffito technique in contemporary ceramic works). This research concerned me with an applied study of the sgraffito technique and its application in contemporary ceramic works. The research contained four chapters. The first chapter included the research problem, which included the following question (What are the mechanisms for employing the sgraffito technique in contemporary ceramic works?) Contemporary ceramic formations?)

The second chapter: It dealt with the theoretical framework and included two sections. The first section specialized in studying the sgraffito technique, its origins and development .

As for the second section, ceramic techniques were studied. From those sections, the researcher extracted indicators of the theoretical framework that represented this chapter, paving the way for the third section, which included research procedures and sample analysis.

As for the third chapter: it contained the research procedures, including the research population, the research sample, and the analysis of the (3) samples of ceramic works. The researcher relied on the experimental applied method, applying the sgraffito technique to works of art, as it is the most suitable for achieving the research goal.

The fourth chapter: includes the results, conclusions, recommendations and proposals, and the most important results reached by the research are as follows:
