Abstract

Research Summary:

          The current research dealt with the study of (the symbolic image in the experiences of contemporary Iraqi women painters (2003-2024 AD)). Which attempts to identify the most important efforts that have occurred in formation and their impact on the development and diversity of symbolic images and artistic styles, and to enrich the artistic and cultural creativity of the Iraqi plastic artist’s achievement by Iraqi women painters to embody personal facts and feelings. Iraqi women painters expressed the context of their modern symbolic plastic language, These developments contributed to the popularity of the idea of ​​artistic creativity in the field of drawing, in addition to the assimilation of modernity’s proposals and their employment with regard to vision and form, as well as the mechanics of construction in their experiences towards formation and treatments. We are now facing the experience of contemporary Iraqi women painters and its importance, which is rich in the diversity of symbolic image techniques, and this is evident through the methods of the women painters. The prevailing intellectual positions favor a new artistic vision. Therefore, the researcher decided to study that symbolic image of the experiences of Iraqi women painters and divided it into four chapters The first chapter dealt with the research problem, which was summarized in the following question:

- What is the symbolic image of Iraqi women painters and does it have a presence and impact on Iraqi culture?

    In the theoretical framework, the researcher divided the chapter into two sections, the first/the symbolic image - meaning and concept, and the second topic/the use of the symbolic image in the works of contemporary Iraqi women painters, then he extracted the most important indicators, and the third chapter specialized in the research procedures that included identifying the research community and selecting the research sample from it and its number (4). models, As for the fourth chapter, the researcher concluded it with the most prominent results and conclusions, the most prominent recommendations and proposals, and a list of sources and references.
