Abstract:
This research is concerned with studying (The artistic image of Christ after the Resurrection between the visual text and the biblical text in Renaissance paintings ), and it is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to (statement of the research problem, the importance of research and the need for it, its goal, and its limits, and defining the terms contained in The title)، and the importance of the research was evident in the fact that it shows the clear paths for understanding the term (resurrection) represented by (Jesus Christ)، which was evident between the linguistic artistic image of the evangelical texts and the visual images of Christian depiction . As for the objective limits of the research, they were determined by studying (the artistic image of Christ after the resurrection). Between the visual text and the biblical text in Renaissance paintings. The time limits are limited to two: ( 1. Depending on the temporal duration of the Biblical linguistic texts, 2. Depending on the temporal duration of the visual representations , therefore the spatial boundaries were limited to two: (the linguistic text, the visual text), and the second chapter included the theoretical framework and indicators, and the chapter dealt with three topics: The first included two axes: The first was concerned with (the linguistic artistic image), while the second was concerned with (the visual artistic image), and the second topic included: (Christ after the Resurrection according to religious texts), while the third topic included: (The historicism of Christian art in the Renaissance era). The third chapter specializes in the research procedures, which consist of: (a linguistic textual community, which is the Biblical text, and a visual community, which is the works of Christian painting in the Renaissance era, which number (30) visual artistic works. Then the researcher selected his research sample from the visual community by choosing (3) works. Visual, that is, with a ratio of (0.1) , and the fourth chapter included a summary of the research results, conclusions, recommendations, and proposals, and among the results reached by the researcher are: 1. The occurrence of the sensory simile in the linguistic artistic image of the Resurrection texts is similar in terms of linguistic structure, as well as with regard to the sensory simile. The visual artistic image differs in its artistic structure, so it is ( identical to reality, anatomy, harmonious bright colours, the aura is a radiance of bright light, a hierarchical structure, dramatic light, an event of time and place, the imaginaryness of the event, the centering of the character, the introduction of movement, rhythm), as shown in Figure (1. As for the conclusions: 1. There are no clear differences in diagnosing the mechanisms of the readable text in the linguistic text, as it tends to overlap between words and the mechanisms of their representation in the visual text, except for what may be a preoccupying relationship in one field rather than another.
