The research was concerned with studying (the controversy of ideology and utopia in the Iraqi theatrical text - the play of the victim and the executioner - as a model), and it contained four chapters. And how was the controversy between them manifested in the structure of the Iraqi theatrical text? While the importance of the research was determined in that it is a valuable research that examines the subject of ideology and utopia from a philosophical, social and cultural point of view. As well as showing the characteristics, methods of treatment and the representation mechanism through which the two concepts were achieved in the theatrical text. The aim of the research is to know the ideology and utopia in the Iraqi theatrical text (the play (the victim and the executioner) as a model) , and then the time limits of the research that were determined in the year 2010 AD, and the spatial in (Iraq), then the chapter concluded by defining and defining the terms.
The second chapter (theoretical framework) included two sections, the first section concerned me with the study of the two concepts (ideology and utopia) with their epistemological framework, while the second topic concerned me with the study (the controversy of ideology and utopia in the global theatrical text), and the chapter concluded with the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework.
The third chapter (the procedural framework) was devoted to defining the research sample. The chapter also included the research method and the research tool, and the chapter concluded with an analysis of the play (The Victim and the Executioner) by the Iraqi writer (Qasim Finjan). Chapter four deals with the following ;
1- Ideological promises constituted a dramatic starting point for entering utopia in order to inspire it with evangelization, permanence and communication.
2- The dominance of imagination in the formation of the utopian structure of the text (the victim and the executioner), which the writer wanted to be formed according to the nature of the dramatic fabric
3- the utopia relied on a poetic language through which the characters of the theatrical text were able to reach an ideal and transcendental state away from reality and its oppression represented by ideology.
.The chapter also included conclusions, recommendations and proposals, and concluded with the list of sources .
