The role of educational strategy in teaching artistic appreciation to art education students

Summary

The role study aims to determine the extent of designing strategies based on teaching artistic appreciation to art education students and their impact on developing the students’ ideas. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used the (quasi-experimental) method, where the experiment was applied to students of art education, and the study consisted of selecting the ability to develop and acquire their educational knowledge. How did the research contribute to building the students’ personalities in an integrated manner through establishing an advanced educational curriculum that keeps pace with modern educational curricula. As it is reflected in the performance of students in all educational fields, art education is therefore necessary to raise artistic taste and issue aesthetic judgments. Accordingly, artistic taste is an acquired behavior that grows with practice. Students must be trained to see beautiful forms, develop in them the ability to distinguish and deduce them, not only in art. But it extends to include all aspects of life.
