Historical and intellectual references for contemporary Iraqi mural art

Research Summary
The current study included four chapters, as follows: The first chapter contained the general framework of the research, in which the research problem was presented, which was crystallized by asking: What are the historical and intellectual references for contemporary Iraqi mural art? For it to be problematic, attention must be paid to all its details. The aim of the research also included identifying the historical and intellectual references for contemporary Iraqi wall ceramics. The objective boundaries were represented by the historical and intellectual references for contemporary Iraqi wall art and the temporal borders (1974-1988), while the spatial borders were represented by the State of Iraq. Some of the terms mentioned in the title of the research were discussed, while the second chapter touched on the theoretical framework, which included two sections, the first to the historical and intellectual references for pictorial murals. While the second section was titled: mural art between contemporary Islamic and Iraqi artistic references, and the second chapter concluded with the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework, while the third chapter included the research procedures, starting with the research community and the research sample, which was represented by (3) ceramic wall models within spatial boundaries. And the temporalities of Iraqi artists. In the fourth chapter, the researcher reached a set of results and conclusions based on the description and analysis of the mural works, and thus came to a set of proposals and recommendations, and then concluded the research with a list of research referrals and sources
